Claire began her craft in chicken coop behind her Walnut Street home. In 1935, she moved the studio to Allied Arts in Menlo Park, CA. The business returned to San Carlos, CA in 1939. The pieces created were figurines and small items, primarily salk and pepper shakers, done in art-deco style, reflecting a high-level of craftsmanship.
